As for bars, there are plenty all over the ship, so it’s never too far from a drink. Two that will definitely catch your eye are Bionic Bar and Rising Tide. Of course the main dining room and Windjammer buffet are staples for most people during your cruise. These spots are included with your fare, making them popular. Other included meals are El Loco Fresh (Mexican food), the Solarium Bistro (smaller buffet), Boardwalk Dog House (hot dogs), Park Cafe (small eats and breakfast), and Sorrento’s (pizza). Shows here feature swimmers and dancers doing moves in the pool.
Oasis of the Seas Suites Feature Extras Such as Free Nightly Cocktails

While it’s not the same as an ocean view, it’ll still make the room feel a bit airier and bigger. But then, what are the main differences onboard Symphony of the Seas vs. Oasis of the Seas? Symphony is just a tad bigger, carries a few dozen fewer passengers, and offers a couple additional dining venues. Staterooms, however, are nicer and more modern on Symphony, so if design is important to you and you have the extra cash, Symphony might just be the ticket. Cruisers are often drawn to sister ship Symphony of the Seas for similar itineraries in the Caribbean. No matter what cruise room you choose for your next globetrotting getaway, you’ll find a stay with us is like nothing at sea.

Food & BeverageWhat’s a cruise without a bite to eat and something to drink? Given the size, there are numerous restaurants, covering all types of cuisines and atmosphere. The Boardwalk at the back of the ship has the feel of a carnival, complete with a carousel and two 10-story slides winding down from the top deck. Central Park — complete with thousands of plants — is a quiet spot to relax among greenery and muted colors amid the otherwise active ship. Design/FeelIf you’ve sailed Royal Caribbean before, then the design of Oasis of the Seas will feel familiar.

Oasis of the Seas' Junior Suite is a step up from the ship's Balcony accommodation and a popular choice among Cruise Critic members. During our cruise, we picked up a few tips and learned some things about sailing aboard Oasis of the Seas.
Allure of the Seas followed in 2010, along with Harmony of the Seas in 2016 and Symphony of the Seas in 2018. The fleet also includes Wonder of the Seas and the upcoming Utopia of the Seas. If you prefer more standard, cruise ship entertainment, you can find it in the ship’s Royal Theater.

Design and description
While other ships in the fleet have a similar promenade setup, the size and space provided on Oasis is like nothing else. Oasis of the Seas — or what Royal Caribbean likes to refer to as the original “game-changer” — is a nickname is well-earned. The ship is the first of the Oasis-class vessels in Royal Caribbean’s fleet, representing the largest cruise liners on the planet. In fact, outside of this class of ships, there is nothing that even comes close to the size. Standard dining, drinking, activities, shows and family programming are free on Oasis of the Seas.
Savor all your favorite cocktails at this tranquil poolside retreat. Satisfy your cravings all day — and night — at this round-the-clock fleet favorite. Grab a friend and race down The Perfect Storm℠ twin waterslides Typhoon℠ and Cyclone℠. On 20 December 2019, Oasis of the Seas was almost struck by Carnival Legend while in port in Cozumel, Mexico. Carnival Legend was on the receiving end of a collision with Carnival Glory earlier that day. If you are unable to book a show in advance, there is always a standby line available to wait in, which means closer to show time, any open seats will be available on a first-come, first reserved basis.
No matter where in the world you choose to wander, cruises can take you deep into top-rated cruise ports and off-the-beaten-path gems, so you can experience each one like a local. Oasis of the Seas features a breathtaking array of cabins, for all configurations of people traveling together at multiple price points, with many rooms accommodating up to six passengers. Royal Caribbean does allow guests to pre-book shows on Oasis of the Seas via the Cruise Planner site. Around days prior to sailing, entertainment for Oasis of the Seas becomes available to book.
Conquer the tallest waterslide in North America and snap a shot from up to 450 feet up in a helium balloon. Grab a drink at the swim-up bar and soak up the scene in the largest freshwater pool in the Bahamas. When you sail onboard Oasis of the Seas®, adventure is always on the itinerary. Cruise Critic is not a booking agent and does not charge any service fees to users of our site.
There seems to be a trend to include the dining room and buffet, but other spots that serve actual meals — rather than snacks — are an extra charge or only open for lunch. While there are some people who aren’t fans of the size of the Oasis-class ships, our view is the complete opposite. During our sailing aboard Oasis of the Seas, we became big fans of the ship. To us, it’s the perfect mix of relaxation while also having so much to do that you can’t get bored, even on a longer cruise.
